Bookstore Committee

The mission of the Saint Spyridon Cathedral bookstore is to make available Christian learning materials including books and religious items. The purpose of these is to further the educational and spiritual development of our parish faithful and all who seek to better know our Lord. Presently, the bookstore is comprised of bibles, icons, prayer books, countless books by clergy and Christian authors, videos and a large variety of items for children. There is always a special emphasis on children’s items so that the seeds of learning, even those as small as the mustard seed, can be planted early by parents and godparents. The current inventory has and will continue to change to remain current and desirable. The committee is happy to acquire items which are not currently available on most occasions. Please do not hesitate to speak with a member of the bookstore so that you can be fully provided for. Visit the bookstore in the Cotsidas Auditorium after liturgy on Sunday mornings or contact any member of the bookstore committee for more information.

“There is a small book: one can put it in one’s pocket, and yet all the libraries of America, numerous as they are, would hardly be large enough to hold all the books which have been inspired by this one little volume. The reader will know what I am speaking of; it is the BIBLE, as we are used to call it - the Book, the book of mankind, as it has properly been called” -Ernest von Dobschutz
