How to Pledge
Family Center News On Tuesday, September 2, at a Special General Assembly the community voted on a historic milestone for our community and passed several motions to proceed with the construction of the Family Center project. The Parish Council and Building Committee thank everyone who has supported the Family Center to date. They have extended an open invitation for anyone who would like to get involved in any aspect of the project to please attend the ongoing weekly meetings. This project is everyone's project and everyone's responsibility and for the first time in over 50 years we have an opportunity to be involved in a legacy that will become an important component of Saint Spyridon's future. It is also time for everyone to step up and make their pledge, or increase their pledge so that the construction of the Family Center is financially supported by everyone in our community.
How to make your pledge? Please complete a pledge envelope and mail it or drop it off to the church office. Or call Nick Paleologos @ 617.828.7924 or Christina Andrianopoulos @ 917.734.9804 to discuss your pledge or learn about naming right opportunities. Every donation is appreciated. For example, a $10 a week donation translates to a $520 annual donation and $1,560 pledge over three years. If everyone did this, we would have raised over $2 million in three years. Consider your pledge today!
Dear Faithful Parishioners,
On behalf of the Building Committee and the Parish Council, we are happy to inform you that The Phase II, Family Center Project was launched with two informative and well received Architectural Presentation on April 7 and 8, 2008. The reaction to the Phase II, Renovation and Reconstruction design was overwhelming and very exciting. This letter is also to inform you that the Capital Campaign has started in full force. Many who were in attendance at both the presentations made their pledge that night, which resulted in over $50,000 being pledged both nights showing their enthusiasm and support in the new design.
This is very exciting and based on these pledges, the encouragement of the donors who have pledged to date and the feed back we received from the presentations, everyone has embraced the new design. For those who were not able to attend the presentations this letter is to inform you that the Family Center Committees are available to meet with you and your family to show you the design and review the options. In addition, after Holy Week and Easter, we will be showing the Architectural Presentation slides in the Cotsidas Auditorium after Liturgy and during coffee hour. We will also be available in the Tonna Room for more detailed discussions and to answer any questions you may have about pledging and naming rights if you are interested in honoring a loved one or family member.

Pledging Made Easy
This is everyone’s chance to be part of Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral’s Family Center. Many of us will never get another opportunity to be part of building a legacy we can call ours as well as leave it for the future generations to enjoy. Please discuss it with your family, pray on it and show your support by pledging your donation to our Family Center. We can help you schedule your pledge on a monthly, quarterly or bi-annual basis. In addition, you can plan to spread your pledge over a two year period. For example, pledging $3,000 per family would convert to only $125 per month over a 2-year plan. Many of us pay more than that for cable service in our homes each month. What ever you can give will be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions please feel free to see us each Sunday or leave a message for myself, or Nicholas Paleologos and Christina Andrianopoulos who serve as the Co-Chairpeople of the Capital Campaign. We are here to serve you for the benefit of the future of our beloved Cathedral.
Yours in Christ
