CHRISTMAS FAST BEGINS, Thursday, November 15th.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Please be advised that Father Dean felt it would be appropriate for the Sunday School students to sit with their families instead of with their classes. After Holy Communion, the students should get up quietly and go to their classes. This does not apply to Nursery and Kindergarten classes.
PARISH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
The Parish General Assembly will take place today following Divine Liturgy in the Cotsidas Auditorium. All those who wish to participate in the voting must be a parishioner in Good Standing. Please make every effort to attend.
PARISH COUNCIL ELECTIONS
The Parish Council Elections for the 2008-2010 term will be held on Sunday, November 18th in the Tonna Reception Room until 4:00 pm.
FAMILY CENTER NEWS
Phase I is complete with a commemoration ceremony coming soon. Look for the launching of Phase II also. We are accepting pledges from families or individuals. You may want to donate
in "memory" or in "honor" of a loved one as many are doing. (Naming rights available.) Please complete a pledge envelope

ANNOUNCEMENT
We thank Dr. Mary Lekas who pledged $250,000 to the Family Center in honor of her mother Mrs. Merciny Lekas of blessed memory. Mrs. Lekas was a devout steward who served as Philoptochos president as well as Greek School teacher for over 25 years in our community.

ORTHODOX LIFE SERIES
Fr. Greg will be conducting workshops on Orthodoxy the coming 4 Mondays at 7pm in the Tonna Reception Room. Each session will last about an hour, and the first one is this Monday, November 12.
COUNCIL OF EASTERN ORTHODOX CHURCHES
2007 Winter Coat Drive Saturday, November 24th. Beginning now and continuing through Sunday, November 18th parishioners are asked to collect and bring their used, adults and childrens good condition winter coats to church or to bring these items directly to the Orthodox Food Center on Saturday, November 24th between 8:00am and 9:00am. Volunteers are needed. Thank you!!!

Maria Stefanakos, Philoptochos member will be taking donations for our Christmas Outreach Program that provides gifts for those home bound or alone, possible. Please look for her after Divine Liturgy to give your donation.

The JOY group (ages 7-11) will be attending Ballet Arts Worcester's production of The Nutcracker Ballet on Friday, Nov. 16, at 7pm. Please contact Fr. Greg for more information.
