SUNDAY SCHOOL
Please be advised that Father Dean felt it would be appropriate for the Sunday School students to sit with their families instead of with their classes. After Holy Communion, the students should get up quietly and go to their classes. This does not apply to Nursery and Kindergarten classes.
PHILOPTOCHOS NEWS
Our Annual Appreciation Membership Tea will be held TODAY at 2:00pm in the Cotsidas Auditorium. Our special guest and speaker is Sophia Nibi who is the Administrative Secretary of the Metropolis of Boston. We are honored to have her with us today. We will also pay tribute to ALL the women who have made our Philoptochos Society what it is today.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Our Philoptochos dedicated the General Meeting to this cause. Today members of the Society will be passing out pink carnations, to all the women of our Cathedral, to remind them that knowledge and prevention can save lives.

PARISH COUNCIL ELECTIONS
The Parish Council Elections for the 2008-2010 term will be held on Sunday, November 18th in the Tonna Reception Room. This year, 5 Parish Council members are to be elected for a term of 3 years. Members in good standing of the Parish who wish to be candidates please submit your names to the Cathedral Office by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 29th.
GREEK SCHOOL PTA BRUNCH
The Greek School P.T.A. Brunch will take place on Sunday, October 28th following Divine Liturgy in the Cotsidas Auditorium. Committee Members will be taking reservations today following Divine Liturgy.
SPECIAL EVENTS COMMITTEE
The St. Spyridon Special Events Committee will host a Father~Daughter Dance on November 3, 2007 from 6:00 pm to 1:00 am. Music and dancing featuring DJ Arthur Pirperis. Hors d’ oeuvres, cocktails, punch and desserts will be served. Tickets will be $20.00 per person. Little ladies under 12, $10.00. The Father/Daughter Dance is looking for dessert donations to be dropped off at the church on November 3rd from 12-3 pm.

The Cathedral is pleased to announce George Maniatis and Michael Dionis as Grecian Festival 2008 Co-Chairmen. Michael and George look forward to the continued support of all past volunteers and invite the entire Cathedral to participate in the planning and running of next years festival. Please mark your calendars. The meetings will take place the 3rd Tuesday of each month.

Holy Trinity’s Treasured Generations 2007 is its annual gift program that guarantees our elders and their families will have an Orthodox home when they need it most. Our need is great!
