Parish Council Elections
November 16
The next few years are critical times for the future of Saint Spyridon. Seeking qualified, stewards in good standing as candidates to serve on the Parish Council, one of the most important leadership roles at our Cathedral. Formal letter from the Election Committee with details and deadlines, forthcoming.

ST. SPYRIDON NURSERY SCHOOL
NOW ENROLLING! Please contact Ms. Laura at 508–752–5354 for more information.
The Nursery School Wish List: We are looking for cleaned containers such as margarine, yogurt, etc. that will allow the children to construct buildings for the block area. Also, we are looking for instruments of child sized percussion and tambourine like instruments so that our children can express themselves by "making beautiful music".

FAMILY CENTER NEWS
The Family Center Committees are working diligently to prepare for a spring 2009 ground breaking. The Capital Campaign Committee will be in touch with everyone in our community to have meetings to review the project and your pledge. If you have not pledged to date, then our goal is to get everyone to pledge (within their means) by Thanksgiving. We are asking for families to consider a pledge of $3,000 over 3-years to be paid. This converts to $83 per month, less than your cable bill. We also can make giving easy by offering a weekly pledge box at the Pangari where you can put your donation in the box with your name and it will be applied to your total contribution. No donation is too small. We also can arrange monthly, bi-annual and annual payments. The important point is to pledge so that our Family Center is financially supported by the community. For those who have been blessed we look to you to match what our forefathers did to make the Cotsidas Auditorium happen over 50 years ago. There are lso naming right opportunities whereby you can honor your family name or in memory of a loved one. And there is Estate Planning too. Please take the initiative to learn about the Family Center project and how you can be a part of our legacy for now and future generations. God Bless You.
