All those who wish to participate in the meeting must be parishioners in "Good Standing". A Member in "Good Standing" is a parishioner who has met their Stewardship obligation. Father Dean and Father Greg will honor you on Father's Day, June 20th following Divine Liturgy. Please call the cathedral office and submit your names.

FAMILY CENTER NEWS
Pursuant to a unanimous vote by the Parish Council, the Building Committee was authorized to award and hire Aberthaw Construction as the General Contractor for Phase I--Stage 1 of the Family Center project. Aberthaw was selected from a group of 7 contractors who bid for Stage 1. The bid came in under $700,000 representing a reduction of over 40% from the original estimate for Stage 1. Construction will commence a week after the Grecian Festival and completion estimated at 11 weeks, over 50% shorter than originally planned.

BOOKSTORE NEWS
THE FAITH is the title of a book by Clark Carlton worth reading and will be featured at the bookstore in the month of April. This text is about understanding Orthodox Christianity. Easter has brought us much inspiration and renewal. This book is an excellent tool to build upon our love for the church by educating ourselves to better understand why we attend each Sunday. We can also educate others by sharing what we have learned or giving them a copy of this book, which is written in simple language for anyone to pick up and read. We are so fortunate, after all, as Carlton states, "The Orthodox Church of today does not imitate [the] original Christian community; She is that community."

CULTURAL CENTER HRISOHORAFTION
The application for the Cultural Center Hrisohorafiton Scholarship is now available in the Cathedral office. Deadline is August 1st. The awards will be given out in September.

LITTLE ANGELS
The Little Angels playgroup meets every Wednesday from 10:30 am-12:30 pm beneath the Cathedral.

GOYA
The next GOYA meeting will take place on Tuesday, June 8th at 6:30 pm beneath the Cathedral.

HOLY TRINITY CORNER
Did you know? If you are a Fallon Community Health Plan member, you are able to go to Holy Trinity for your rehabilitation if you let the case manager know as soon as possible that you are a member of the Orthodox Community. They will make the referral to Holy Trinity, and we will do the rest!

STEWARDHSIP NEWS
Like every other good and perfect gift, Time is something God gives along with Talent and Treasure. Since Time is ultimately a part of God's good creation, we can live in faith that Time can be redeemed. You can start by offering your service at the Grecian Festival. Come help at the Grecian Festival this week. Even if it's just for a few hours.

HOSPITAL AND HOME VISITS
Due to strict HIPPA laws, medical professionals can not inform our priests if anyone has been admitted into the hospital. Therefore, for both Father Dean and Father Greg to be able to visit and offer blessings to those sick or infirmed, please have a family member call the church and let them know.

METROPOLIS OF BOSTON LAITY AWARD DINNER
The 24th Annual Metropolis of Boston Ministry Award Dinner will take place on Sunday, June 13th at Lombardo's, Randolph, MA. The recipient this year from our Cathedral is Al Matulaitis. For your reservation please call the Cathedral office. Tickets are $75.00 each and the check should be made out to the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston.
