COUNCIL OATH OF OFFICE
Following Divine Liturgy, the Parish Council will take the Oath of Office.
Members to be sworn in are: Christina Andrianopoulos, Sideris Angelou,
Petros Athanasiou, Michael Barris, Konstantinos Bloumis, Dawn Georgiadis,
Gus Giannakis, Amy Kalogeropoulos, Katerina Kambosos, John Lenis, Nicholas
Petralias, Harris Pitsillides John Rallis, Athas Tsongalis, Evangelia
(Lika) Velentzas. We welcome our 2007 Parish Council and wish them a blessed

MARY
AND MARTHA FELLOWSHIP
The second gathering of the Mary and Martha Fellowship of the
Council of Easter Orthodox Churches will be held on Tuesday, January 9,
2007 at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Nursing Home at 300 Barber Avenue, Worcester,
MA. All Women are welcome to share in our Fellowhip. Snow date- January

PUBLICATION
COMMITTEE
The Publication Committee is seeking new members to join its committee.
The committee oversees all Cathedral publications including: Weekly Bulletin,
Weekly Bulletin Online, Cathedral News, Website, Online Newsletters (Cathedral
Connect) and more! Please come to our first meeting on Monday, January
8th at 7pm or email cathedral.news@spyridoncathedral.org.
GOYA
GOYA meets every Tuesday from 6:30-8pm beneath the Cathedral. All Orthodox
youth between the ages of 13 and 18 are welcome to join.
HOLY TRINITY
CORNER
Holy Trinity’s TG (Treasured Generations) 500 is there annual gift
program that guarantees our elders and their families will have an Orthodox
home when they need it most.
You can also make your annual donation through the United Way. Please
make sure that you specify Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilition Center
as your “selected agency” in the section provided on the form.
Also, check with your company to see if they participate in the Matching
Gifts Program! $125.00 in March, June, September & December will satisfy
your TG500 pledge for 2007.

PHILOPTOCHOS
NEWS
January 9 - (second Tuesday) Philoptochos General Meeting at 7:00pm
January 14 - Immediately following Divine Liturgy, in the Cotsidas Auditorium,
Philoptochos will sponsor a Vasilopita Brunch to benefit St. Basil’s
Academy. Admission is free and everyone is welcome. Donations will be
accepted during the brunch for those who are unable to attend donations
can be made during liturgy.
DANCE GROUP
Dance Group will resume in late January, please see upcoming bulletins
for details.
LITTLE ANGELS
Join us for playgroup every Wednesday from10:30am-12pm beneath the Cathedral.

HELLENIC ARTS
SOCIETY
Winter Film Series: All films will be shown at 3:00 p.m. in the Cotsidas
Cultural Center, followed by a reception. The films are free to members,
$5.00 for non-members.
Sunday, January 21 - “Hard Goodbyes: My Father,”
an adult 2003 film about faith and patience in a young boy who awaits
his father’s return.
Sunday, January 28 - “Iphigenia,” a 1977 family film
by Michael Cacoyannis, with music by Mikis Theodorakis.
Sunday, February 4 - “Ulysses’ Gaze,” an adult
1995 film starring Harvey Keitel that traces a Greek-American director’s
journey across the Balkans in search of lost reels of film.
