NAME DAY FLOWERS

2008 PARISH COUNCIL MEMBERS
Today the 2008 Parish Council Members will take the Oath of Office. FAMILY CENTER NEWS
The Family Center Committee is accepting pledges from individuals or families "in honor" or "in memory of" a loved one. This is a wonderful gift to give for the legacy of your family or loved one as well as be part of Saint Spyridon's history.

PHILOPTOCHOS NEWS
Tuesday, January 8 - General Meeting, 7:00pm Tonna Room. We will begin the New Year with the cutting of our Vasilopita.
Sunday, January 13 - VASILOPITA BRUNCH Immediately following Divine Liturgy in the Cotsidas Auditorium. Reservations will be taken today, $12.00 for adults, children are free. We will also be cutting the Vasilopites. All proceeds will benefit St.Basil's Academy. A tray will also be passed next Sunday for those who are unable to attend this very important fundraiser.

SAINT SPYRIDON’S VETERANS
Peter Leasca is spearheading an initiative to compile names of our Greek Community veterans who served in the military. If you know of a loved one who served and you would like them recognized, please complete the form that is in the church office or contact Peter at LSTWW2@aol.com. We would also like to acknowledge those who are currently enlisted. Please give their names to Peter too.

Meets every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. beneath the Cathedral.

Meets every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

HOLY TRINITY CORNER
Treasured Generations 2008 is Holy Trinity's annual gift program that guarantees our elders and their families will have an Orthodox home when they need it most.
Did You Know? We are the only Pan-Orthodox Skilled Nursing Facility in the WORLD! Liturgy service is every Wednesday. We also hold special prayer services during important religious holidays. Many volunteers from the Orthodox Community assist with the service and during coffee hour.

ST. SPYRIDON NURSERY SCHOOL
The Nursery school is NOW accepting new enrollments for the 2008-2009 school year. Please call the church for more information.
